About the event

We shall try the following techniques:

Watercolour and graphite together: some parts of the work will be done in graphite and others in watercolour. Alternatively, watercolour can be applied over light graphite. Both options make interesting and stimulating pieces of work.

Drawing with the brush: Concentrating on shape, tone and colour, you will do a sketch of your subject in watercolour, with no or minimum pencil drawing to guide you. Good fun!

Dropping paint: After drawing the outline of your subject and wetting the paper with clean water, you will drop watercolour into it. If done carefully, the results are amazing.
